Here is Carmen Niany, and today I present my first project with the new Kora Projects collection which is "Cocina con Amor". And whoever says kitchen says recipe book….

Siiii! mi proyecto de hoy es un recetario super simple…😀 en forma de album con encuadernación rusa, pero….. las paginas las he cambiado por sobres…. 

Sin demorar más, a continuación les muestro el tutorial.

Yessss! My project today is a super simple recipe book… 😀 in the form of an album with Russian binding, but… .. I have changed the pages for envelopes….

Without delay, below I show you the tutorial.

Se utiliza una carrtulina de 20,7cm x 30 cm.

Del largo de 30cm de comienza a plegar a 3cm - 4 - 5,5 - 7 - 8 - 9,5 - 11 - 12 - 13,5 - 15 - 16 - 17,5 - 19 - 20 - 21,5 - 23 - 24 cm. 

Luego de dobla en acordeón y se pega por detrás una pestaña con la otra con cola para que se forme la espina como indica la foto. 

A 20.7cm x 30cm cardboard is used.

From the length of 30cm it begins to fold at 3cm - 4 - 5.5 - 7 - 8 - 9.5 - 11 - 12 - 13.5 - 15 - 16 - 17.5 - 19 - 20 - 21.5 - 23 - 24 cm.

Then it is folded in an accordion and one tab is glued behind the other with glue so that the spine is formed as indicated in the photo.

Se corta dos piezas de carton gris de 22,5 cm x 17 y otra pieza de 6,5 cm x 22,5 cm.

Con un pedazo de cartulina de 22,5 cm x 11 cm, plegamos del lado de 11 cm a: 1,3 cm - 2 - 8,5 - 9,3 cm, luego de dobla como indica la foto. 

Cut two pieces of gray cardboard measuring 22.5 cm x 17 cm and another piece measuring 6.5 cm x 22.5 cm.

With a piece of 22.5 cm x 11 cm cardboard, fold the 11 cm side to: 1.3 cm - 2 - 8.5 - 9.3 cm, then fold as indicated in the photo.

Se pega la cartulina a las dos piezas de la portada de este modo.

The cardboard is glued to the two pieces of the cover in this way.

Y luego se pega sobre la cartulina el ultimo pedazo de carton para formar un lomo resistente. 

And then the last piece of cardboard is glued onto the cardboard to form a strong spine.

Se coloca pegando otro pedazo de papel para reforzar la espina como indica la foto. 

It is placed by gluing another piece of paper to reinforce the spine as indicated in the photo.

Se forra el album al gusto 😊.

Aqui he usado una combinación de antelinas mostaza y azul marino. 

Para decorar la portada he usado la shaker de metacrilato plato con cubierto. También coloque un liston de ecopiel nogal y papel de la colección cocina con amor. 

The album is covered to taste 😊.

Here I have used a combination of mustard and navy blue suede.

To decorate the cover I have used the methacrylate shaker with cutlery plate. Also add a walnut faux leather ribbon and paper from the cooking with love collection.

Se decora la espina con bandas de papel de la colección y foil. 

The thorn is decorated with paper bands from the collection and foil.

Se pone pegamento en las pestañas de la espina tomando en cuenta que se deja por lo menos 1cm arriba sin cola, así como en la foto.

Glue is put on the spine tabs taking into account that it is left at least 1cm above without glue, as in the photo.

Se mantiene con pinzas hasta que todo seque bien. 

It is kept with tweezers until everything dries well.

Se corta dos piezas de cartulinas de 22,2 cm x 16,7 cm, y dos piezas de papel decorado de 21,9 cm x 16,4 cm. 

Cut two pieces of 22.2 cm x 16.4 cm cardstock, and two pieces of 21.9 cm x 16.4 cm decorated paper.

Con una hoja de acetato Foil polka dots que se corta a la mitad, haremos dos bolsillos. He cosido un liston de papel decorado de la colección al tope del acetato. 

With a sheet of acetate Foil polka dots that is cut in half, we will make two pockets. I have sewn a ribbon of decorated paper from the collection to the top of the acetate.

 

Luego se coloca los acetatos de forma de que quede como bolsillo al hacer el doblez por detras de las hojas. Así como en la foto. 

Then the acetates are placed in such a way that it is like a pocket when making the fold behind the sheets. Just as in the photo.

Ahora viene el momento de hacer los sobres😊

Si tiene una plancha de plegar para hacer sobres, se corta 5 papeles decorativos en cuadrado que mide 10 1/2 pulgadas de los 4 lados. luego se pliega en la tabla de plegar a 4 3/8 pulgadas.

Si no tienen tabla de plegado, se puede hacer con regla y lápiz: 

Se corta 5 papeles decorativos de 26,7 cm x 26,7 cm y luego se mide con regla y lápiz con ayuda de las medidas dadas en la primera foto, notando que en cada esquina se deja 1cm antes de trazar con el lápiz. 

Now comes the time to make the envelopes😊

If you have a folding plate for making envelopes, you will cut 5 decorative papers into a square measuring 10 1/2 inches on all 4 sides. Then it folds into the folding board to 4 3/8 inches.

If they do not have a folding table, it can be done with a ruler and pencil:

Cut 5 decorative papers measuring 26.7 cm x 26.7 cm and then measure with a ruler and pencil using the measurements given in the first photo, noting that 1 cm is left in each corner before tracing with the pencil.

Se recorta las esquinas sobrantes, se dobla y se pega. 

Excess corners are trimmed, folded and glued.

Se pega en el interior del album las dos paginas con bolsillos detrás de la portada y la contra portada. 

The two pages with pockets behind the cover and the back cover are pasted inside the album.

Luego se pegan los sobres sobre la espina. 

The envelopes are then glued onto the spine.

Se utilisa los dies cuts de la colección para decorar los sobres y colocar un elemento para que pueda cerrar y abrir fácilmente el sobre. 

Dentro de los sobres he usado las tarjetas para las recetas que están disponible en descarga en la web 😊

The dies cuts from the collection are used to decorate the envelopes and place an element so that you can easily close and open the envelope.

Inside the envelopes I have used the cards for the recipes that are available for download on the web 😊

Con los dies-cuts de la colección se decora al gusto. 

Para la portada he puesto una combinación de palabras y diseños. 

Decorate to taste with the dies-cuts from the collection.

For the cover I have put a combination of words and designs.

Y ya el proyecto queda listo para recibir todas las recetas bonitas que se haga!!
