TUTORIAL: Cómo hacer un álbum y libro de firmas de COMUNIÓN.

Hola chic@s!!! Soy María José de Scrap Planeta, y como estamos en los meses de comuniones, he realizado dos álbumes a juego, uno para firmas y otro para fotos, ambos muy sencillos de hacer y muy vistosos. Son de estilo princesa, y quedarán preciosos con las fotos de su comunión. El conjunto también lleva a juego una caja alterada, igualmente muy fácil de hacer, y que puede servir para poner los recordatorios o los detalles para los invitados. Todo el conjunto es ideal para poner en una mesa dulce y darle brillo y alegría. 

Hi girls!!! I am María José from Scrap Planeta, and since we are in the months of communions, I have made two matching albums, one for signatures and one for photos, both very simple to do and very colorful. They are princess style, and will be beautiful with the photos of your communion. The set also comes with an altered box, also very easy to make, and that can be used to put reminders or details for the guests. The whole set is ideal to put on a sweet table and give it shine and joy.

Otra ventaja de este conjunto es que con poca inversión podemos sacar todo este pack. Como veréis en el tutorial que está disponible en el canal de Kora en YouTube, vamos haciendo los dos álbumes un poco a la par, para economizar tiempo también. Todo está realizado con una sola colección de "Holy mint Day", los recortables de niño y de niña, y la hoja de tarjetas también de niño y niña.

Another advantage of this set is that with little investment we can get all this pack. As you will see in the tutorial that is available on the Kora channel on YouTube, we are making the two albums a bit at the same time, to save time as well. Everything is made with a single collection of "Holy mint Day", the cutouts for boys and girls, and the card sheet also for boys and girls.

Empezamos por el Libro de Firmas, que fue la inspiración para todo lo demás, con ese precioso carruaje de princesas con unicornio alado de vinilo perlado. Monté una shaker en el interior del carruaje con sus cortinillas y diamantitos. La portada se basa en una composición de marcos para dar relieve y profundidad, realizados con cartón contracolado.  Para la decoración de los marcos utilicé un chipboard de flores, de ramas, y marco floral, que coloreé ligeramente con acuarelas y que después sellé y di brillo con glossy. Para resaltar el marco de vinilo blanco perlado puse un chipboard de esquinas. Finalmente colocamos el texto "Libro de Firmas" que queda precioso simplemente pintado de blanco.

We started with the Signature Book, which was the inspiration for everything else, with that beautiful princess carriage with a glitter vinyl winged unicorn. I set up a shaker inside the carriage with its curtains and little diamonds. The cover is based on a composition of frames to give relief and depth. For the decoration of the frames I used a chipboard of flowers, branches, and a floral frame, which I colored lightly with watercolors and then sealed and shined with glossy. To highlight the white glitter vinyl frame I put on a corner chipboard. Finally we place the text "Signature Book" which is beautiful simply painted white.

Los dos álbumes, de 20x20 cm, vienen ya montados completamente, con sus hojas interiores y wire, lo que también hace que sea un proyecto  rápido y económico. En Kora Projects disponéis de este tipo de álbum con las tapas de madera, ideal para estos proyectos.

Para el álbum de fotos, realizamos el mismo proceso, intentando dar una uniformidad a los dos. En este caso, cambiamos elementos como el carruaje o las esquineras. También utilicé algunos recortables y el chipboard de espiga, elemento que coloreé para igualar las decoraciones en ambos álbumes. ¿No creéis que quedó precioso también?

The two 20x20 cm albums come fully assembled, with their inner sheets and wire, which also makes for a quick and inexpensive project. At Kora Projects you have this type of album with wooden covers, ideal for these projects.

For the photo album, we carry out the same process, trying to give uniformity to the two. In this case, we change elements such as the carriage or the corner pieces. I also used some cutouts and the herringbone chipboard, an element that I colored to match the decorations on both albums. Don't you think it was beautiful too?

Por dentro, he decorado las contratapas delanteras y traseras con papeles de la colección, y la primera hoja de cada álbum con trocitos de papel y las tarjetas de la colección. Utilicé dos imágenes que me parecen muy muy bonitas y quedan impresionantes al abrir el álbum.

Inside, I have decorated the front and back covers with papers from the collection, and the first sheet of each album with scraps of paper and cards from the collection. I used two images that I find very very beautiful and are impressive when opening the album.

La última parte del proyecto, es una caja alterada. ¿Quién no ha tenido en casa alguna vez una cajita de fresas? ¡no la tires! porque se puede aprovechar para hacer esta preciosura. Y si no tienes cajita, en cualquier frutería te darán las que quieras. Aquí nos ahorramos el cartón y el trabajo de componer una caja desde cero. 

Para decorarla utilicé antelina verde menta para la base, el papel "Million Roses" de la colección "Princess Garden" y unas flores en dos colores : Rosas Moscú y Rosas Londres. Añadí los pistilos amarillo s y los lacitos que tenía por casa y el resultado final creo que es muy elegante y perfecto para colocar dentro recordatorios, detalles o lo que necesitemos.

The last part of the project is an altered box. Who has not had a box of strawberries at home? Don't throw it away! because it can be used to make this beauty. And if you don't have a box, any greengrocer will give you whatever you want. Here we save ourselves the cardboard and the work of composing a box from scratch.

To decorate it, I used mint green suede for the base, the "Million Roses" paper from the "Princess Garden" collection and some flowers in two colors: Moscow Roses and London Roses. I added the yellow pistils and the bows that I had at home and the final result I think is very elegant and perfect to place inside reminders, details or whatever we need.
