Tutorial Caja Alterada Hello Spring/ Shadow Box.

Hola!! Soy Silvia, de Mi Mundo Scrap y, con la nueva colección "Hello Spring" de Kora proyects, he elaborado una shadow box que llevaba mucho tiempo pidiéndome mi hija.

Hello!! I'm Silvia, from Mi Mundo Scrap and, with the new "Hello Spring" collection from Kora projects, I've created a shadow box that my daughter had been asking for a long time.

Y para que veáis que es muy fácil de hacer, os he preparado un tutorial.

He utilizado la shadow box de Kora proyects, que es grande (mide 30 x 30 x 5 cm.) y tiene 10 compartimentos de diferentes medidas. Con el manual que lleva es muy fácil de montar.

Quería decapar los cantos, por lo que los he pintado primero con pintura chalk paint color chocolate. Después he frotado con una vela algunos puntos.

I wanted to pick out the songs, so I painted them first with chocolate paint chalk paint.
Then I rubbed a few spots with a candle.

He pasado un par de manos de pintura chalk paint en color crema. Y por último, con un papel de lija, he rasgado las zonas donde había aplicado la vela para que se vea la capa inferior oscura y dar el efecto decapado.

I have passed a couple of hands of chalk paint in cream color.
And finally, with a sandpaper, I have torn the areas where I had applied the candle to see the lower layer dark and give the pickling effect.

He tomado las medidas de los diferentes compartimentos y he cortado diferentes hojas de la colección "Hello Spring". He seleccionado las fotos que quiero poner en alguno de los compartimentos.

I have taken the measurements of the different compartments and I have cut different sheets of the "Hello Spring" collection. I have selected the photos I want to put in one of the compartments.

He rasgado el filo de todos los papeles. Los he pegado en el fondo y los laterales de cada compartimento.

I have torn the edge of all the papers. I have stuck them in the bottom and sides of each compartment.

Y he aplicado un poco de tinta Distress Ink por el filo de los papeles.

And I applied a little bit of Distress Ink on the edge of the papers.

Estaba deseando estrenar los modelos 3D de Kora projects, por lo que he utilizado la cómoda de 2 cajones a modo de tocador. Le he dado una capa de gesso, he forrado todos los lados con papel de la colección y he añadido dos tiradores.

I was looking forward to the release of the 3D models of Kora projects, so I used the la cómoda de 2 cajones as a dressing table. I have given him a layer of gesso, I have lined all sides with paper from the collection and I have added two handles.

Como quería incluir unos marquitos, he utilizado uno de los círculos del chipboard Marco círculos, que he embossado tres veces en blanco. Para que se aguantase de pie, he añadido un trocito de chipboard doblado en la parte trasera.

As I wanted to include a few marquitos, I used one of the circles of the chipboard Marco círculos, which I embossed three times in white. To stand it up, I added a piece of chipboard folded in the back.

Y me apetecía mucho incluir unos libros, por lo que he creado unos en miniatura. Para ello, he recortado unas hojas que, después de doblarlas por la mitad, he juntado en pequeños grupos y he grapado en el centro. Para la portada, he forrado con tela un trozo de cartón kraft, lo he cosido y después he pegado 2 ó 3 grupos de hojas en el lomo.

And I really wanted to include some books, so I created some in miniature. To do this, I cut out some sheets that, after folding them in half, I have put together in small groups and stapled in the center. For the cover, I have lined a piece of kraft cardboard with cloth, sewed it and then I have stuck 2 or 3 groups of leaves on the spine.

Para acabar de decorar, he añadido microesferas y cuentas, un poco de cera Opal Magic Wax de Prima Marketing y Distress Crackle Paint en algunos puntos.

To finish decorating, I added microspheres and beads, a bit of Opal Magic Wax from Prima Marketing and Distress Crackle Paint at some points.
