encontrarme en Meraki byNuneka) y hoy os traigo un bastidor de bordado alterado con
técnicas mixed media y la colección CozyWinter que he titulado Winter Love.
Hello,
I’m
Nuneka (you can find me on Merakiby Nuneka) and today I want to show you an embroidery hoop I’ve
altered with mixed media techniques and CozyWinter collection; I’ve named it Winter Love.
Comencé cortando dos
semicírculos de la hoja FrostyDay de la colección CozyWinter para hacer el fondo. Cubrí con gesso el bastidor y pegué
los papeles, dejando el azul arriba para simular el cielo. Protegí
el papel con gesso transparente y creé unas nubes con spray azul.
I
started by cutting two semicircles from FrostyDay sheet, CozyWinter collection, to make the background. I covered the hoop
with gesso and glued the papers, leaving the blue in the top so it
can be the sky. I protected the papers with clear gesso and created
blue clouds with spray.
Cubrí todo el aro con
pasta de relieve de efecto nieve y recorté varios de los elementos
de la hoja LovelyFamily. Le di textura y aspecto metalizado a los chipboards
con polvos de embossing, elegí varias ramitas y un fondo estrellado
donde coloqué la foto.
I
covered the hoop with texture paste that looks like snow and fussy
cut several elements from Lovely Family sheet. I gave texture and metallic look to the chipboards
with embossing powders, I chose several twigs and a starry background
where I placed the photo.
Además de los chipboards
y las piezas recortadas, utilicé flores y ramitas que corté con un
troquel (usando los restos de papel que me quedaban). Dejé la la
mayor parte de los elementos en la zona inferior bajo la foto y una
pequeña muestra en la parte superior para equilibrar.
Besides
the chipboards
and the fussy cut pieces, I used flowers and twigs I cut with a die
(using the scraps I had from the paper). I placed most of the
elements in to lower end under the photo and some few in the upper
end to get some balance.
Unos toques finales de
pasta de nieve, confeti y salpicaduras y estaba listo! Nunca había
hecho un layout redondo antes y me parece que es mucho más divertido
que los habituales. Te animas?
Some
final touches with snow paste, confetti and splatters, and it was
done! I had never done a round layout before and I think it’s much
more fun than the normal ones. You dare?
