Mueble cajonera para Comunión/ Chest of drawers for Communion

Hola chic@s!! Soy María José de Scrap Planeta. En esta ocasión he querido hacer algo de cartonaje, que ya sabéis que me gusta mucho. Y con tanto tiempo libre pues me dije: ¡vamos a hacer algo grande! Así que aquí tenéis un mueble de 42 cm de alto por 30 cm de ancho realizado desde cero.

Hi guys! I am María José from Scrap Planeta. On this occasion I wanted to do some cardboard, which you already know I really like. And with so much free time, I said to myself: let's do something great! So here you have a piece of furniture 42 cm high by 30 cm wide made from scratch. 

Lo más difícil fue hacer a mano la forma curva del mueble pero como quería hacer algo diferente me lié la manta a la cabeza. Lleva 3 cajones bastante amplios para meter recuerdos o sus cositas de comunión, y en la parte de arriba cabe un álbum gordito. Y ya tiene dueña, una pequeña que hará su comunión en septiembre.

The hardest part was making the curved shape of the furniture by hand, but since I wanted to do something different I tied the blanket over my head. It has 3 drawers wide enough to put memories or your little things of communion, and at the top it fits a chubby album. And it already has an owner, a little girl who will make her communion in September.

Para la decoración utilicé la Ecopiel azul cielo en la parte de atrás y laterales curvos y la Ecopiel verde menta por delante. Luego forré los cajones y los laterales grandes con los bonitos papeles de Comunión Holy Mint Day, que como veis, sus estampados pueden servir también para otras decoraciones que no sean litúgicas.

For the decoration I used the sky blue Eco-leather on the back and curved sides and the mint green Eco-leather on the front. Then I lined the drawers and the large sides with the beautiful Holy Mint Day Communion papers, which as you can see, their prints can also be used for other decorations that are not liturgical.

Finalmente utilicé chipboards para decorar y resaltar ese toque de comunión: el cásico de Mi Primera Comunión y algunas piezas del set de comunión. Yo creo que ha quedado muy original ¿os gusta? Un abrazo.

Finally I used chipboards to decorate and highlight that touch of communion: the classic of My First Communion and some pieces of the communion set. I think it was very original, do you like it? A hug.
