Cada año, preparo un calendario de adviento que regalo a mi hermana Mailén, para que espere la Navidad de la forma más dulce y alegre. Lo empecé a hacer cuando ella era más pequeña y, aunque ya no es una niña, me gusta ver su cara de ilusión cuando lo recibe :)
Year after year I prepare an Advent calendar that I give to my sister Mailén, so that she can wait for Christmas in the sweetest and most joyful way. I started doing it when she was younger and although she is no longer a child, I like to see her happy face when she sees it :)
Esta vez me he decidido ir un paso más allá, añadiendo luz a mi calendario ya que necesitaba hacer lucir los nuevos acetatos con foil de Kora Projects. Para esto, coloqué luces de led en la parte trasera del marco que iluminan cada uno de los 24 días antes de la Navidad.
This year I want to go a step further, adding light to my calendar because I need to show off the new Kora Projects foil acetates. So I put led lights on the back of the frame that illuminate each of the 24 days before Christmas.
En el centro del calendario, he creado una escena navideña con un árbol de navidad shaker, regalos, un trineo y las nuevas figuras de metacrilato espejo de Kora, con forma de copos de nieve que reflejan aún más la luz. Todo protegido por el acetato snowflakes, que es mi favorito.
In the center frame, I have created a Christmas scene with a Christmas tree shaker, gifts, a sleigh and Kora's new mirror acrylic figures, shaped like snowflakes that reflect even more light. All protected by the snowflakes acetate, because it is my favorite!
