Cómo hacer una carpeta para guardar unas libretas.

Hoy te enseño cómo he realizado este portalibretas. También he decorado unas libretas (bastante feuchas)... verás qué cambio dan con el material de "KORA PROJECTS".

Today I show you how I made this notebook holder. I've also decorated some notebooks (quite ugly)... you'll see what changes they make with the "KORA PROJECTS" material.

Para empezar necesitamos dos cartones, un centímetro más grande de cada lado que nuestras libretas. También una pieza del mismo alto y, dependiendo del grosor de las libretas, será nuestro ancho para el lomo. Encuadernaremos las tres piezas con antelina rojo carmín. Dejaremos secar con peso sobre la estructura. 

To start we need two pieces of cardboard, one centimeter larger on each side than our notebooks. Also a piece of the same height and, depending on the thickness of the notebooks, it will be our width for the spine. We will bind the three pieces with carmine red suede. Let dry with weight on the structure.

En la decoración de la estructura y de las libretas he utilizado de nuevo la preciosa colección "Wonderland". 

In the decoration of the structure and the notebooks I have used again the beautiful "Wonderland" collection.

Pongo cola de encuadernar en toda la parte trasera de la libreta, incluyendo unos 2-3 cm de la portada y pego la antelina al ras de la libreta; por el resto de lados recorto la antelina al ras de todas las partes de la libreta.

I put binding glue on the entire back of the notebook, including about 2-3 cm of the cover and I glue the suede lining flush with the notebook; On the rest of the sides I cut the suede lining flush with all the parts of the notebook.

Este paso lo hago en las dos libretas, y lo dejo con peso y secando. 

Vuelvo a la estructura y con el papel "Chess Board", corto una tira de una altura que te guste cómo se vea con el papel decorado y la pego a la antelina roja, al ras por la parte de abajo. El borde de arriba lo decoro con un poco de cinta/lazo. 

I do this step in the two notebooks, and I leave it with weight and drying.

I go back to the structure and with the "Chess Board" paper, I cut a strip of a height that you like how it looks with the decorated paper and I stick it to the red suede, flush at the bottom. The top edge is decorated with a bit of ribbon/bow.

Para cerrar nuestra estructura, pegamos en cada extremo unos 40 cm de cinta para poder hacer un lazo que funcione como cierre de nuestra estructura. Termino de encuadernar la parte interior con el papel "Chess Board", utilizando las caras de las flores, el cual me parece una divinidad. Me falta un poco para completar toda la estructura de papel decorado, y usaré el papel "Alice´s Dream" por la parte de topitos verde y blanco. ¡¡Una pasada de combinación!!

To close our structure, we glue about 40 cm of tape at each end to make a loop that works as a closure for our structure. I finish binding the inside with "Chess Board" paper, using the faces of the flowers, which seems like a divinity to me. I still have a little to complete the whole decorated paper structure, and I will use the "Alice's Dream" paper for the green and white polka dots part. A pass of combination!!

Plegaremos muy bien las dobleces para asegurarnos que nuestra estructura funciona.

We will fold the folds very well to make sure that our structure works.

Terminamos con las libretas poniendo papel decorado. En una de ellas, he usado el papel "Tea Time" del lado derecho del papel donde está situado la ilustración grande (me encanta el resultado). En la otra libreta, he utilizado el papel "Chess Board", en esta ocasión por el lado de tablero de ajedrez, cogiendo la ilustración de la reina de corazones (me encanta el contraste blanco y negro con el color rojo).

¡¡Ya tenemos nuestra estructura y nuestras libretas decoradas!!

We finished with the notebooks by putting decorated paper. In one of them, I have used the "Tea Time" paper on the right side of the paper where the big illustration is located (I love the result). In the other notebook, I have used the "Chess Board" paper, this time on the chessboard side, taking the illustration of the queen of hearts (I love the black and white contrast with the red color).

We already have our structure and our decorated notebooks!!

Hacemos dos agujeros en la parte de arriba del lomo con la ayuda de la crop a dile o punzón, calculando el grosor de nuestras libretas y en paralelo abajo (a la misma distancia). Embellecemos con cuatro eye let. Para colocar nuestras libretas, uniremos un eye let de arriba y otro de abajo, y hacemos un nudo por dentro de nuestro portalibretas. Repetiremos este paso en los otros dos agujeros... Y ya podemos colocar nuestras libretas.

We make two holes in the upper part of the spine with the help of the crop dile or punch, calculating the thickness of our notebooks and parallel to the bottom (at the same distance). We embellish with four eye let. To place our notebooks, we will join an eye let from above and another from below, and make a knot inside our notebook holder. We will repeat this step in the other two holes... And now we can place our notebooks.

Para finalizar he colocado en la parte trasera del portalibretas una placa personalizada de metacrilato con mi nombre.

To finish, I have placed a personalized methacrylate plate with my name on the back of the notebook holder.
